The Toronto Blue Jays appeared to have avoided serious injuries in their outfield.

Myles Straw and Jonatan Clase are each considered day-to-day after being forced to leave Tuesday’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks, manager John Schneider told reporters on Wednesday.

While Straw is unavailable for Game 2 of the series against the Diamondbacks, Clase could come off the bench, Schneider said.

Both players exited in the fifth inning of the Blue Jays’ series-opening 5-4 win.
